Christine Boulton-Olson, PhD, LP, is a Licensed Psychologist who specializes in adult individual therapy and couples/relationship therapy. Her therapeutic approach focuses on assertiveness, empowerment, anger management, depression, anxiety, communication, conflict resolution, romantic relationships, career development, self-esteem, and encouragement of physical health treatment adherence.
Dr. Boulton-Olson received her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Manitoba-Winnipeg Student Counseling and Career Centre. She is currently Vice Chair of ATAGF’s Continuing Education Program.
Dr. Boulton-Olson believes that change can only occur in the presence of understanding: understanding self, understanding others, and understanding group and individual differences. She has a deep interest in rural psychology and in promoting whole person care through collaboration with other health care providers.
