Erin Haugen, Ph.D., LP, CC-AASP, is a licensed clinical psychologist and sport psychologist. Dr. Haugen received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Dakota and is a Certified Consultant of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (CC-AASP). She holds adjunct faculty status in the University of North Dakota Psychology Department and is a Behavioral Science faculty member at the Altru Family Medicine Residency. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at River Valley Services/Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown, CT and completed her post-doctoral residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA.

Dr. Haugen's clinical practice focuses on individual therapy with adults and adolescents dealing with a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, eating issues, and adjustment to life stressors. She conducts adult psychological assessments with a focus on general diagnostic issues, evaluation of ADHD, and psychological readiness for bariatric surgery.

Dr. Haugen's sport psychology practice focuses on working individually with athletes ages 15+, team/group consultations, and workshops/presentations. She has experience working with athletes from over 15 different individual and team sports ranging from recreational to the elite/professional level. She collaborates with professionals from a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to sports medicine, athletic training, primary care, dieticians, and coaches. Dr. Haugen was a member of her high school basketball and track and field teams. In her spare time, she enjoys competing in triathlons (sprint to half-Ironman distance), swimming, cycling, and running (5k to marathon distance). She also enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and rescue dogs.
